Naturopathy
Naturopathy and Herbal Medicine are the oldest and most widely used systems of medicine in the world today. Naturopathy can be seen as a system of medicine in which the body is encouraged to heal itself. A Naturopath treats the whole person. Many modalities are applied, including Herbal Medicine and Nutrition, to nourish the body back to health. A Naturopath views health as a positive state, not the mere absence of disease.
Fresh air, fresh water, fresh food, and exercise play a major role in Naturopathic Philosophy.
A person doesn’t need to be sick to see a naturopath as a lot of people attend a naturopath for general well-being and maintenance. The benefits of natural medicines are that they can work well with other health care practitioners such as doctors, chiropractors, physiotherapists, and massage therapists.
